You have to be asking yourself "Are these guys really that good?". Simple answer is YES they are! How could they not be? They are the defending AL Champions and have yet to lose in 2011. They are a good ball club!
Their secret to success is an easy one. They keep it Simple and fun. You may love or hate the claw and antlers but it's fun for them. They seem to really like and care about one another. Example when Elvis hit his home run and they cold shouldered him. It was simple but fun! This team has one of those rare sports chemistry connections that may make them great one day!
It all starts with their manager. A guy that lives a very private life in the 9th Ward in the Big Easy. He could live anywhere but he keeps his life simple and fun. That's the way he leads his baseball team. It is a very simple and fun style of baseball managing.
Don't misinterpret my blog ramblings by no means am I calling this team soft. All I am saying is they are having fun which makes Texas Ranger Baseball fun to watch. I hope the Metroplex is up for another wild World Series ride! It looks like we are heading that way again.
